What is MSME and Udyam Registration?
MSME registration stands for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. The Government of India has created a separate department for this, and Udyam Registration is the system that registers businesses under MSME registration. This system, launched on 1st July 2020, replaces the older Udyog Aadhaar system.
There are three categories under MSME registrations:
