JAMMU: BSF foiled an infiltration bid from across the border in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
“The troops kept a close watch on suspicious movements and fired a few shots. They combed the area later,” a source said.
The infiltration bid comes two days after BSF DG, Daljit Singh Chawdhary, reviewed the security situation along LoC in Poonch district and internation border in Kathua district on Saturday.
