Earthquake Today: Philippine islands hit by 5.6 magnitude tremor

Earthquake Today: A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck the region of the Philippine islands on Wednesday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), GFZ said.
