Lashkar-e-Taiba’s most wanted terrorist, Abu Qatal, was shot dead in Pakistan on Saturday night. A key figure in the terror group, Qatal was responsible for orchestrating multiple attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources report that Abu Qatal, whose real name was Zia-ur-Rehman, was traveling with his security guard in the Jhelum area around 7 PM when unidentified gunmen ambushed them. The attackers fired 15 to 20 rounds, instantly killing both Qatal and one of his guards, while another guard sustained critical injuries.
