Pakistan attempted to attack Indian military installations, leading to retaliatory strikes. Blasts were reported in Karachi and other locations, causing panic amongst civilians. Amid all this, a Pakistani ex-army major and member of the national assembly, Tahir Iqbal, made an emotional plea, saying, ‘We bow our heads before you and ask for forgiveness.’
