Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not attend the Victory Day celebrations in Moscow on May 9, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
According to a Reuters report, a number of other international leaders, including Chinese president Xi Jinping, are scheduled to come to Russia to attend events, marking the 80th anniversary of victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two.
