UP government approves new liquor policy.

Native liquor, the composite model, and cannabis retail shops will be assigned through an e-lottery system. Only two shops will be allocated through the e-lottery process across the entire state.

Rate of license fee increased from ₹254 per bulk liter in the year 2024-25 to ₹260, according to the revised order, reported NDTV.
