Although it looks impossible in the ODI series against England, Virat Kohli can till chase to become the second-highest run-scorer in ODIs. The former India captain is 329 runs away from surpassing Kumar Sangakkara (14,234 runs) to the second place. Sachin Tendulkar (18,426 runs) still leads the chart.

Just like against any other team, Virat Kohli has a strong record against England in ODIs. The right-hander has scored 1340 runs in 36 innings against England in ODIs and needs 293 more runs to surpass Chris Gayle in the list of most run-getter against England in one-dayers.
