Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who created a ripple after she posted a bruised photo of her on social media and claimed that she only had four days to live, was discharged from the hospital Monday. The 41-year-old woman was a famous name when she outed Jeffrey Epstein and also divulged that she had had sex with Prince Andrew at one of Epstein’s infamous parties.
Guiffre and Prince Andrew reached an out-of-court settlement and Guiffre was nowhere in the news until she posted a photo saying she had only four days to live.
In the social media post, Giuffre said she had met an accident, following which doctors gave her only four days to live. She claimed that she had gone into kidney renal failure, and doctors transferred her to a specialist hospital in urology.
Australian media reported that police had no report of any such accident that injured her to that extent, while her family members claimed she indeed had met an accident. They said they informed the cops but no cops came to the spot and they told the cops that the injuries were not very serious.
Giurffre said she’s been abused by her husband for years
In an interview with PEOPLE, Giuffre said she was able to fight back against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s girlfriend, and Epstein who abused and trafficked her. “But I was unable to escape the domestic violence in my marriage until recently. After my husband’s latest physical assault, I can no longer stay silent,” she said.
On January 9, Giuffre reported an assault to the police, but her husband was not charged. His attorney told PEOPLE that everyone involved in this case is prohibited from commenting. Guiffre’s family members said the last assault almost rendered her dead. They, however, could not confirm whether Giurffre’s bruises were because of the reported crash or the recent assault.
